What does this car say about you?

At the time that I was a bit different! Now they are SO common on the road the dynamic looks have kind of gone and everybody goes with the same colour combinations so its become a bit bland.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They liked it and thought it looked very sporty. Only problem was it wasn't actually as fast as it looked and with the suspension etc it could have handled more power.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Nope, had 2 of them and now have a Fiesta ST (15 reg) which has awesome firepower and handles beautifully and wasn't much more than the DS3! May as well get a full on hot hatch for the money. Always got 50+ MPG but never near the 74 quoted, even on a LONG motorway cruise.

What are you likely to buy next?

Got myself a new Fiesta ST which I recommend everyone got out and buy.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Existing customer so got a pretty good deal.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Got a discount cause I was an existing Citroen driver (had the petrol DS3 which was way better!) and really loved the looks of the car.

What was the dealer like?

The overall experience with Citroen directly has been poor. They never had parts in stock the day I needed them but my local garage could get them same day for half the price! Had a bump in the car and phoned Citroen Assistance and they were okay but could have been better.

What's it like to drive?

Sluggish low down and there is some amount of turbo lag even when you floor it. When you get it into 3rd gear its fine but off the line and around town its a bit rough cause of the engine. Its got great suspension and great chassis so it's a joy round corners at speed and always feels faster cause it has a lot of torque (once you get it up to 3rd gear!).

What's it like to park?

Easy. But i always felt the car was bigger than it was and the rear windows are tiny so that makes it a bit tricky sometimes.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Scuffed the alloys more times than I care to mention! They are very easily scuffed and dented, the silver alloys I had on my petrol DS3 could take a pounding. The black alloys damage easily and were expensive to get repaired (twice!).

What's most practical about your car?

Not much I'm afraid... rear legroom isn't great, room up front for two adults isn't brilliant and the boot is oddly shaped cause its 'sporty' so isn't the biggest of boots either.
