Citroën DS5 (2012 - 2015) 2.0 HDi DSport 5d Owner Review

Fantastic looking car. Nothing else like it on the road but putting what is essentially a concept car on the road creates problems. The rear window is to shallow and the rear roof spoiler cuts right across your view when looking in the mirror. Also the rear roof line dramatically drops toward the hatch and that limits the rear head room. Then get behind the wheel and all the problems go away ,the bespoke interior is of a great quality and all surfaces feel good to the touch. The switches work with out falling apart and the the diesel is is a gem. Yes its not the most refined but with the manual box it flies and its still economical. Couple this with great comfort , good ride quality and your on to a winner although avoid the 19 inch wheels as they just mess up the ride. You fined yourself asking if you are driving a citroen as there no badges inside just a few ds ones. Upon leaving the car you realise you are in a citroen because of the large grill but then you catch the profile of the DS5 and it dawns on you that you are one of the very few people who dared to be different and bought a DS5. You can park this anywhere in the knowledge they you will never ever loose this amongst all the other euro clones all around you !
