Citroën Grand C4 Picasso (2007 - 2013) 1.6 16V VTi VTR Plus 5d Owner Review

Great car. It's seen us through 11 years of family life and always delivers whatever we need it to. Our kids have left home now so it's a University drop off vehicle having previously done time as a school drop-off, football team carrier, teenage party collector, furniture mover and dump drop-off. Part of the family I simply love this car and have done 100,000 miles in it since we bought it. The only expensive repairs were a new clutch at 90,000 (I was doing 170 motorway miles a week at the time) I've driven C4 Grand Picasso (now called Spacetourer) and like it but it's too tricksy. All new Citroens are too tricksy! The C4 Grand Picasso is a great Citroen design. Passengers comment on the huge windscreen. The ease with which the rear seats (3,4,5) can be folded is great. The rear seats (6+7) are easy to use but too small for adults but much better than our Espace where you had to take them out to carry loads! The 1.6 diesel is economic (up to 53 mpg) and relaxed to drive. It's not a sports car but a comfortable reliable durable family transporter / van substitute. Now you see loads of minicab drivers in these - they know a good thing......
