Citroën Grand C4 Picasso (2007 - 2013) 1.6i THP SX EGS 5d Owner Review

Bought this car to replace our old Zafira; what a mistake! For the first ten months the car was fine, after this it was one very expensive repair after another... clutch, alternator belt, EGS transmission failure, automatic parking brake, new ECU, new EGR valve, gearbox failure. All in all, this car has cost me over £6000 in repairs over a three year period. On top of this the EGS semi automatic transmission is awful and makes even the simplest of journeys quite torturous. If you are tempted by the low running costs of one of these, please do yourself a favour and buy anything else. The only reason we kept it so long was because we took it out on finance. I will not miss this terrible overcomplicated heap of junk in the slightest...
