Citroën Grand C4 Picasso (2007 - 2013) 2.0HDi 16V Exclusive Nav 5d EGS Owner Review

INfact my car is on a 12 plate.Obviously I've been a little nervous due to the bad publicity.Despite this she covers around 16000 miles per year at least 4000 pulling a display trailer and to date the only issue has been the air ride. Pump replaced 3 times and cones twice. (on the last occasion I asked for them to replace with steel springs, cost around £350, but Citroen refuse. You can't help some folk). I suspect trailer towing at the max weight is something the air ride does not live with. The cigar lighter was incorrectly wired, which I plug the camera into. The gearbox, while slow on the first change has not been an issue and is very smooth. The 250bhp 2.0ltr HDI has a pleasing grunt coupled with the 6 speed box for overtake. Lately the aircon has it seems decide to leak, which goes in next week. I've changed oil twice a year and comfort is first class. The only irritant possibly comes from the blinds fitted to the rear door windows, which are integral with the window and rattle slightly. This is not my first Citroen (i had the BX in both salon automatic and 1.7tdi estate. I get the impression that if you really work them they prove to be very reliable).
