Citroën Grand C4 Picasso (2014 - 2018) 1.6 VTi VTR 5d Owner Review

Do not buy this car!!!... MPV car of the Year for 5 years Running if it lasts that long!?! We were happy with our new purchase bought within manufacturers warranty, Good looking car, fun to drive for an MPV. More than adequate seating and storage for our family of 5 plus dog. However this car doesn't appear to be built to last as our car 4 months out of extended warranty - 4 years old 27000 miles full Citroen service history with no recommendations to replace timing chain (cam belt) at the service just 3 months prior to requiring to get the car towed to a Citroen garage with over £2000 worth of damage due to a slipped timing chain that apparently was not defective in anyway which I find difficult to comprehend but can only assume that this means that it can happen to any Citroen C4 Grand Picasso at any time irrelevant of age or mileage. After 1 month without a family car and multiple difficulties in communicating with their customer service centre I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere!
