Citroën Nemo Multispace (2009 - 2012) 1.4 HDi 8v 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Five Star car if you are looking for an inexpensive, nippy, cheap-to-run 5 seater (4+1/2 really!) utilitarian load-lugger. (One Star for those who crave luxury) Keep below 60mph to avoid poor fuel economy. Very easy to drive, Ride quality is 'basic', but front seats are supportive and comfortable. Large glass areas mean plenty of vision. Compact length and BIG external mirrors mean rear vision is excellent and a doddle to reverse into parking spots. Sliding rear side doors have proved to be invaluable in tight spaces. V.E.D. for the 1.4 HDI diesel Multispace is £30/annum. (Buy the van version and you'll pay more for the equiv year and mileage, get no rear seats or windows and pay V.E.D. £156) This has been by far the least expensive vehicle to run that I have owned. Ever! I have previously, over the last 49 years, changed my vehicles every 2 to 3 years. I have owned this Nemo for nearly eleven years but still see no reason to change just yet.
How reliable do you find the car?
Diesel particulate filter dissed after 50K and front top suspension bushes are now starting to knock (Apparently a common fault on the Citroen/Peugeot/Fiat variants due to the design)Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Very basic utility so no nice carpets or plush upholstery to spoil. A square box of a load lugger means larger loads can be transported when the rear seats are removed.About their car
