Economy
Value
These cars are basic compared with newer models but they are cheap to buy and run.
Costs
A few problems under warranty but peanuts parts prices, go to German Swedish, French for bits.

Driving
Really nice to drive. Cars without power steering may feel slow to turn, but otherwise a really fluid well-balanced little car.
Performance
Lively for the engine size. Engine feels stretched over the legal limit but chassis composed.

Reliability
Fine. No tremendous problems. Did have some gearbox niggles - poor shift quality - was sorted under warranty.
Image
Depends on your disposition. I think Saxos look the part.
Comfort
For a small car very good.
