Economy
Value
Would be even better value if the car was reliable.
Costs
Cheap to service. Parts not too bad. Fuel consumption good if not being pushed hard.
-
On the road
Driving
Good handling, but back end feels light when really driven hard.
Performance
FOR: Very quick off the mark - there isn't much that will beat it. AGAINST: Although good for 125mph, it runs out of pull at about 90mph and feels like it's going to leave the road. Lots of wind noise.

Living with it
Reliability
Terrible: steering rack and interior alarm sensors at 22k miles, ABS brake faliure at 30k miles (resulting in accident), electric mirror faliure at 31k miles, gearbox problems at 35k miles and suspected rocker head cover at 36k miles.
Image
Not bad, but it is only a Citroen.
Comfort
I'm 6' 1" and I found it comfortable, but some find offset pedals awkward. Room for two in the back and a good size boot.

Security and Service
Security
VTS comes with alarm and keypad immobiliser as standard, but thankfully they have not been tested.
Service
Rubbish. They seemed less then happy to sort out problems under the warranty and didn't seem too bothered about them either. I have been put off for life.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Has to be driven high in the revs to get the performance. Weak engine - expect problems.
Other
Countless electrical problems. Face it, the French aren't up there with the Germans or Japanese.
