Economy
Value
Not happy. Bought car at wrong time as 7 months later I lost £2500 on a second-hand motor!
Costs
Parts not too bad in price. Service parts affordable!

On the road
Driving
Drives well apart from, after Citroen did download, the throttle keeps sticking at full - dangerous!
Performance
Tried and tested VTR & VTS, unless I tried a slow VTS, did not think the difference between them was worth the insurance jump between VTR & VTS!

Living with it
Reliability
I would not take this car on a long journey due to breakdowns! Too many to list (airbag light, K light on dash coming on, fuel cut-off keeps re-setting & stalling etc).
Image
I do like the looks of the VTR / VTS. Plenty of modifications available!
Comfort
What you can expect from a small hatchback, suspension is quite hard! But good handling.

Security and Service
Security
Not much security as standard, but immobiliser works well!
Service
I have been to Citroen several times with various problems and every time the problem has not been fixed.
