Citroën Xantia Estate 1.9 TD 5d (97) (1997/P) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
A lot of car for a resonable price.
Costs
So far no faults so no costs bar regular servicing. 45-50 mpg being diesel and cheaper insurance.
-
On the road
Driving
Pedals a bit close together and a couple of blindspots when reversing.
Performance
Ideal for a 40 year old plodder when mpg is more important than speed.
-
Living with it
Reliability
So far so good, just normal wear and tear, e.g brake pads and replaced glow plugs(£100).
Image
Not that eyecatching - lets hope car thieves think the same.
Comfort
unbeatable.
-
Security and Service
Security
Central locking, alarm and keypad immobiliser (bit fiddly).
Service
Local Citroen dealer, Thompsons of Stroud, very good.
