Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
-
Economy
Costs
Cheap to buy, expensive to maintain.
-
On the road
Performance
Comme-ci, comme-ca.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Not good. Hydraulic suspension started leaking, water leak from engine head (fixed by main delaer), squealing brakes (dealer does not seem to be able to fix).
Image
Dowdy.
Comfort
The smoothest riding car I have owned (mind you, the others were all Fords).
-
Security and Service
Security
Keypad security a good ani-theft deterrent, but I still find myself trying to start it without entering the code.
Service
Main dealer was expensive and car has come back with 'new' faults each time it has been serviced. So not good!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
'Core plug' in head burst, leading to ignition failure from water spraying everywhere. Uses (or leaks) 500ml oil every 2000 miles.
Other
I'll be going back to Ford or Vauxhall...
