-
Economy
Value
Cheap to buy, not so cheap otherwise, but good equipment level for price.
Costs
Don't break it! If the suspension goes it's often better just to set fire to it.
-
On the road
Driving
Superb ride, but wallows like a boat at speed!
Performance
A nippy engine can't disguise the fact that it feels like you have an elephant in the boot.
-
Living with it
Reliability
RAC told me the engines never ever break. Discovered myself that the electrics never ever work.
Image
Strangely attractive car for the age - big and sleek looking.
Comfort
Very little headroom, seat gave me a bad back. Beware if you are tall.
-
Security and Service
Security
Keypad immobiliser quite good, but the alarm is a bit useless - and goes off a lot just for the fun of it.
Service
Expensive and rubbish - they quoted £100 for an oil leak - turned out to need a new dipstick (£5)

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
None - ever, and I really mistreated mine!
Other
Electrics a nightmare - windows, instruments, alarm, lights - all broke repeatedly. Radio actually caught fire on the motorway.
