Value
My car has present 205k miles on clock and is still going strong!
Costs
Can be a little expensive on some spares (ABS sensor £100!), otherwise reasonable.

Driving
Good stability, but feels a little 'rolly' around bends.
Performance
Turbo diesel astounding, if used to a petrol driving style has to change a little. (Main power above 2000rpm).

Living with it
Reliability
Regular oil changes, radiator will last approx 3-5 years on TD. Spheres changes with 2-3 years car stays reliable.

Who cares! It works, it has the performance. As long as it gets me from A to B reliably, with no problems and in comfort, I don't car about image.
Comfort
Seats are a little low in the cabin, but good suspension if spheres are changed every 2-3 years.

Rear boot lock sticky, due to button sticking in. This is seemingly a common occurance with Xantia.
Service
Any problems are investigated and given good, acceptable answers/options.
