Citroën XM Estate 2.0i VSX Turbo 5d Auto (1994/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
With service history a well kept late model is very good value.
Costs
Use Citroen dealers for regular services, go to specialists for suspension and gearbox repairs
-
On the road
Driving
On late models the computer controlled suspension is a peach.
Performance
Not brilliant, but go for turbo 2.0 petrol or a 2.5 turbo diesel for best response. Look at V6 models if they are in really good condition.

Living with it
Reliability
Better than the early XM's, but still has silly electrical faults.
Image
That slinky aerodynamic shape appeals to even those who wouldn't buy an XM.
Comfort
Can't fault it - my teenage kids love it.

Security and Service
Security
Quirky but effective keypad starter system.
