Citroën Xsara Picasso (2000 - 2010) 1.8i 16V SX 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Well what can we say our biggest regret has been selling our beloved picasso. There by no means a stunner in the car world, but there sort of like having your favourite aunty that adores you and would do anything for you its just like having one of them around. For a 1.8 petrol it was exonomical enough returning mid to late 30 mpg and sat happily for 2 plus hours on the motorway with minimum road noise. Our only problem was the short time we had owned it it needed an mot which needed around 300 quid spending on it to get through around the same value as the car but as the garage couldnt fit us in for the repairs for a couple of days we decided to have a shop about and made the fatal error of buying a 2006 zafira 1.9cdti which caused us nothing but problems even with a extremley low mileage and flawless sservice history it was by no means as comfortable or as reliable or even as economical what a fatal error we had made, the load space in our old picasso made it virtually a van or car easy to drove and a very commanding view of the road,my advice to anyone thats consodering a picasso is go for a 1.8 petrol there just as frugal as the diesels but cheaper at the pump 5 stars what a good car we miss it terribly (currently lookimg for another)
