Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm not trying to impress anyone...
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Needs a good wash.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Most certainly. Comfort, economy, load-carrying.
What are you likely to buy next?
Same again.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,500
When did you buy the car?
March 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I think so - it wasn't perfect cosmetically, but had low miles.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Replacing a Renault Espace that I wrote off in a parking accident. A mate has a Picasso and I liked it.
What was the dealer like?
A second-hand car dealer ;-) I'd buy from him again.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Not sporty, that's for sure, but it gets me and a lot of stuff from A to B very comfortably and economically (up to 60mpg on a long trip). Cruises happily at 70+. Did a long drive from SE England to the Pyrennees, really comfortable. Yes, I did have to change down for the hairpins.
What's it like to park?
Easier than a long estate. The short bonnet makes a difference.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing that wasn't my fault apart from a weird fault where the volume on the radio goes up and up til your ears bleed. And the CD player doesn't play homemade CDs. Car itself is fine.
What's most practical about your car?
It's a tardis. Easy to park but holds either: -three mountain bikes, their riders and camping gear -an entire 4 piece band's gear including small PA, drums and a big bass rig plus one passenger -four passengers and a greyhound. Does any of them comfortably and without drinking a lot of diesel.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The seats that come out. Aircon (1st car I've had with this, easy to get used to isn't it!).
