Citroën Xsara Picasso (2000 - 2010) 2.0i 16V Exclusive 5d Auto Owner Review

In their own words
My car is getting long in the tooth but every time I think of replacing it I struggle to find another which suits me better. I bought the car from a Citroen dealer as an approved used car with a year's guarantee. Within the first 3 months both the fuel inlet system and the auto gearbox failed and were replaced free of charge. The total cost to me would have been £3000+ so thank you Islington trowbridge.
In the 5 years and 40000 miles since the car has not missed a beat and has needed only wear and tear replacements. I need an auto and much prefer the car's torque auto to others I have tried. Even better, the car has the manual option as well. I use the auto for pobbling around and the manual for twisty roads. And we get 35mpg. The seats are soft, which suits my coccyx well. Not supportive on long journeys though. The handling is not great, the car will wallow on bends but suspension soft enough to deal with the rural potholes we have where I live. A very flexible load carrier; with the rear seats out, I have a van. And at 11 years old the car has fully depreciated. I have tried the later C4 Picasso but the seats are too hard for me.
I guess I am going to keep this car as long as I can.
