Citroën Xsara Coupe 2.0i 16V VTS 3d (1999/T) Owner Review

Economy
Value
I picked this car up at a bargain price, it had a lot of work done on it by the garage thanks to a GreenFlag examination which I paid for.
Costs
For a sports Coupe it's excellent if driven sensibly, it cost me thirty pounds to do a journey of 240 miles. I was occasionally heavy footed on the throttle so very pleased with that return. My brother's 1600 Astra used the same amount on the journey.

On the road
Driving
An excellent drive, the vehicle sticks to the road like it's on rails for a sports coupe it is a supple ride.
Performance
There are newer Coupe vehicles that will out perform this vehicle now, but most still can't match it. As other people have already commented this vehicle is a wolf in a very convincing sheeps disguise.

Living with it
Reliability
Had my vehicle six months and not a problem yet (touch wood) the vehicle is stronger built than its predecessor the ZX.
Image
I'm sad, I like the vehicle, it would look better without the standard fit alloys.
Comfort
Good drivers position, rear view is a little poor when reversing. Plenty of small compartments big enough to fit CD's or other smaller items.

Security and Service

Service
Not used the main dealer and wouldn't if i could get away with it.
