What does this car say about you?
Thwarted and sensible boy racer: the appearance of this car has grown on me, as has the top end acceleration.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends all like it. Family doesn't.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes: the fuel economy is amazing. The top end acceleration is very good. The car is very reliable. The heaviness of the car makes for comfortable long journeys. I like the appearance of the car. I like the air-con and the steering wheel entertainment controls.
What are you likely to buy next?
Basically, a modern version of this car. Or a performance electric car if I strike it rich.

Did you get a good deal and why?
There was a scrape along the nearside sill which needed filler and paint repair. There were scratches on other parts of the bodywork.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looked very pretty. Is a heavy car with excellent mpg, so good for long journeys.
What was the dealer like?
Very pleasant.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good motorway cruiser: there is a lot of acceleration around 80mph (on the Continent, of course). Its heaviness means that it is comfortable at speed and in traffic. I have had to change down gear on some mountains, but the engine is very powerful.
What's it like to park?
Rear view a little restricted, so parking is a learned knack.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Timing belt went inside of recommended mileage, but no damage done to engine. Dealer just needed to replace the belt and standard timing belt-related components.
What's most practical about your car?
Incredibly economical: around 11.2 miles to the litre driving fast with air-conditioning on. Heaviness means that it is comfotable on long journeys.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Steering wheel entertainment controls.
