Citroën ZX Estate 1.9 TD Aura 5d (1995/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Excellent value for money. Chassis handles, engines performs well, brakes better with uprated pads, trim is cheap and not well put together.
Costs
Cheap, good fuel consumption even when driven hard, although prone to premature wearing on front tyres. Brake pads need replacing frequently. Parts are cheap and the labour as long as not a main dealer.

On the road
Driving
Rides well, handles well for an estate even when fully loaded and with roof box.
Performance
For a TD goes well can hold its own off the mark and suprisingly around the corners although can be twitchy at speed.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable if maintained regulary, never not started in 7yrs and 120k miles
Image
Practical and unassuming, drives better than it looks.
Comfort
Deep seats make it comfortable on shorter distances, lumbar support on front passenger seat would have been nice, steering wheel could have more adjustment in height and reach.
