Did you get a good deal and why?

It was reasonable for it's year and age against the good parkers guide.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I had a J reg Ford escort that needed a new engine, so opted for the chance to upgrade. I had a friend that had bought a ZX and it felt good as a passenger for a reasonable mark up.

What was the dealer like?

Reasonable and handled the sale in a relaxed manor.

What's it like to drive?

Generally reliable in alot of conditions. Good acceleration for it's age and class.

What's it like to park?

Good but, the car is slanted down to the bonet so the boot is slightly elavated which can sometimes be precarious for bollards.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Radiator pipe repair. Normal Servicing & Maintenance. Passenger window action repair. Injection valve repair. Electrics have been occasionally faulty. The central locking is now playing up causing a irractic locking mechanism when you open the car. This is caused by fraid wires in the door hinge cables. I tried to re solder and re-crimp the wires, but they are difficult to crimp without the factory standard crimps and accessibilty.

What's most practical about your car?

Space and storage, 5 doors. Injection engine. Power steering was a great upgrade on last car, although i have since driven better cars with improved steering.
