Summary
What does this car say about you?
Was a bit different to the other Fiesta's, Micra's etc than other sixth formers were driving.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They liked it, especially those who drove it liked the handling.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Bought a Berlingo Multispace which used a lot of ZX mechanical in the future and more recently a 2nd gen 2011 C3 which reminded me a lot of the ZX to drive.
What are you likely to buy next?
Replaced it with a BX.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,000
When did you buy the car?
November 2000
Did you get a good deal and why?
Got car for well under book price, it had only covered 30,000 miles and was in as new condition with a no expense spared full service history. Not bad for £2,000 (remember this was 14 years ago!!).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted a Citroen for my first car, after reading loads of reviews the ZX looked to be a great choice.
What was the dealer like?
Private seller, very nice people. They had taken great care of the Citroen and the sellers wife (who's car it was) was very sad to see it go.

Easy! Large glass area and good steering even minus PAS.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Aside from wear and tear, nothing at all in 6 years and 70+000 miles.
What's most practical about your car?
Big boot, loads of interior space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Passive rear wheel steering gave fantastic handling while still riding as a Citroen should.
