Citroën ZX Hatchback 1.8i Furio Cat 3d (1993/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Cheap to buy. Fairly cheap to run.
Costs
Whole new break assembly £200. Sporty exhaust costs more than regular ZX.
-
On the road
Driving
Power/weight ratio makes it a good laugh. Sits a bit too high, though.
Performance
Quicker than comparable hatchbacks.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Mechanics are good. Electrics are starting to wane.
Image
Looks sportier than other ZXs. Colour makes a difference (mine's Black).
Comfort
Sporty seats feel good, but can be cramped on long distances (I'm 6' 3", but it's got more legroom than a new 3 door Golf).
-
Security and Service
Security
Keypad and alarm, although someone just smashed the lock off my passenger door!
-
Problems and Ownership

Engine
Leaks a bit of oil after cam was opened.
Other
Electrics are Fench and 10 years old!
