Dacia Duster SUV (2018 - 2024) 1.0 TCe 100 Bi-Fuel Comfort 5dr Owner Review

Great car for the money, very comfortable cheap to run, especially on gas, however check you have a garage close by that sells LPG..

Personally I think the car looks pretty smart, it’s nippy enough, it’s not the slug some say it is, 100hp is enough, IMO..

All good really, but obviously it’s a budget car so carpets are poor and the plastic interior is not fantastic, but perfectly adequate for a family..

Now the down side, our Duster has an annoying rattle coming from the turbo (very annoying and spoiling my enjoyment of the car TBH)..

I had a service done about 2 weeks ago, and asked them to look at fixing the rattling (sounds just like a loose heat shield) when the wife picked the car up, she was told it was an issue with the turbo and would be rectified after the fix is announced on September the 23rd, then the vehicle will be “recalled” and fixed (though they don’t know what that fix is yet) ? Hmmm

I was not happy about this and have made a complaint, bottom line is they won’t do anything until after late September, it’s “political” between Dacia and the garage the dealership that sold us the car…

Totally poor service by Dacia, IMO..

So as a consequence I believe it is a safety issue, as when I am driving the car the noise takes over my concentration, that should be 100% on the road, Dacia are totally not interested…

The 3 year guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on…

I suggested they replace the turbo, as that would guarantee the issue was fixed, and they actually wanted me to pay for it as the dealership would not pick up the bill…

Very poor indeed Dacia / Hendy..
