Dacia Duster SUV (2018 - 2024) Essential SCe 115 4x2 5d Owner Review

Ive been watching the Duster since it was released waiting for a catch or bad review but the press and reviews are generally v positive. The only niggle seemed to be the 1.6 and if it was ' a bit breathless' the diesel costs £2k more so I thought to myself - hang on all those reviewers drive around in high spec fancy cars with big engines - so I tried the 1.6 for myself - its fine, why pay more. I don't drive like I'm on the Nürburgring or put other drivers at risk with constant overtaking so whats wrong with the 1.6 absolutely nothing, its a sweet Nissan made engine as used on the old Qashqui - nobody had any issues with it - if your not sure take a test drive and save £2k. As for the car the interior is spot on, ride is better than anything ive owned and lower noise, thios is a verysolid and well put together car, even the standard stereo is great with tweeters built in the dash- why do I find it like this? because I'm a normal driver Top tip -get the essential in slate gray metalic and the door handles and roof bars match the paint, the steel wheels also look like alloys if you care about what the neighbours think, the standard stereo is excellent with tweeters built in the dash, look up the connect go phone holder that is specialy designed for locking into the front of the stereo, turns your phone into a touch screen for the stereo, and the google maps is better than the pricier sat nav screen option. Also negociate the spare wheel for free and a set of mats in the price to close the deal.
