Dacia Sandero (2013 - 2021) 1.2 16V Access 5d Owner Review

Big disappointment!!! As I only buy basic cars as thats all I need, looking at this seemed a good buy (friend bought one though got rid after 6 months) not much more expensive than my last car. Purchasing from the garage Lookers was a nightmare, with mistakes on their part. Had the car three weeks when Accerlerator pedal was sticking to the floor on motorway. (Garage stated they replaced - questionable?) Alarm bell constantly going off informing us of seat belt/s not fastened. (have leave all seat belts fastened at all times to stop alarm going off) Boot wouldn't open with key when fixed boot then started opening by itself. Had to be fixed again. Car doesn't start when a dewy morning but when it's cold it starts? Repeatly been in Garage for this problem and they cannot find fault??? Finally contacted Dacia and to be honest complaints service was a disaster too, with mistakes and excuses by them. I've called it the 'Tank' it drives like one, sounds like one and manouvers like one. I had to check it had 'power steering' as it is really heavy to steer. When driving in the rain it collects on the bonnet bounces around and then it's the window screen which makes it near impossible to see with rain already hitting window screen. Engine noise is really noisy it's not an enjoyable drive, either radio on or window open. I don't find it nippy like my last car and mpg is not great I use a 1/3 more petrol than my last car with the same engine size. Car just been in garage again, on average every four weeks, it has cost me so much in lost wages that I am getting rid. The Garage seems incompetent of sorting the problems. I have had six cars in total since driving and this is by far the worst. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you put that bit extra money aside and buy another Brand. You'd be saving yourself a lot of hassle, time and money!!! AVOID!!!!
