Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm poor? Or maybe that I know value when I see it, and that spending a fortune on a fancy car just to commute isn't a priority?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They don't say much, however the lack of heated seats, stereo etc means that they don't ask me to be taxi very often!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely. Found most so called 'executive' cars fail to live up to their hype, so figure why spend 5 x as much on something which doesn’t even offer 2 x as much.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Dacia. Maybe the Ambience model or the Duster.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£5,995
When did you buy the car?
May 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. Price was fixed but was given a loan car for 2 days whilst mine was being prepped, and the bottle of wine on delivery was a nice touch.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The low price was the sole factor.
What was the dealer like?
Brown Brothers of Peebles. Professional and efficient unlike the other dealer in Edinburgh.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Like the previous gen Clio it's largely based on. Bit of body roll in the bends and the engine has to work at motorway speeds, but a smoother ride than many other small cars.
What's it like to park?
Easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing. The only expenditure in 2 yrs has been the annual services at £156ish each.
What's most practical about your car?
The spaciousness compared to other new cars around this price point.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
It's the 'Access' model so it doesn't do gadgets. Keeps the price down and less to go wrong.
