Dacia Sandero Stepway (2013 - 2021) 0.9 TCe Ambiance 5d Owner Review

At first the Stepway seemed like an ideal family car, it had a reasonably spacious no frills interior, low cost tax and low fuel costs. The drive itself was ok, no amazing but it seemed good value for money. That was until the car hit 50,000 miles and the engine malfunctioned. Though only a few years old, Dacia claimed the car was out of warranty and wanted 6k for a new engine (almost the cost of a new car). If you are thinking of buying a Dacia, be aware that these cars are not made to last long term and will not do a typical 100,000 or so like other cars.
