Daewoo Espero 1.8 CDi 4d Auto (1997/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Lots of car for the money, but don't forget that if it's cheap to buy, you won't get much back when you sell it!
Costs
Similar MPG to other cars of the same size.
-
On the road
Driving
Extremely smooth and hardly any vibration/rattling.
Performance
Acceleration from 0-60 in the Auto is not brilliant - but once you're moving it is fine
-
Living with it
Reliability
I've only had a couple of very minor problems with mine.
Image
I think it looks nice - especially in darker colours - who cares if it is an old 80s Cavalier underneath it still uses 90s technology
Comfort
Extremely comfortable - I once took a friend out in it at night and they thought they were in an Audi!
-
Security and Service
Security
Not brilliant - but it's hardly a target for theft.
Service
Usually have to wait 20-30 minutes to get through to the servicing department by telephone (A40 Ealing Branch) but they're OK in person
