Pros & cons
PROS
Well equipped, value for money
CONS
Lacks refinement and build quality
Daewoo Kalos (03-05) rivals
Overview
Daewoo’s supermini is budget transport with all mod cons. It goes head-to-head with Hyundai’s Getz and the Nissan Micra in the Value for money stakes. Kalos is attractively packaged, generously equipped and comes with free servicing for three years. The interior lacks the style of its rivals and the drive is lacklustre, but Kalos is hard to overlook if you’re looking to make your pound go further.
