Daewoo Nubira Estate 1.6 SE 5d (97) (1998/R) Owner Review

Economy
Value
A lot for your money, but you soon see why.
Costs
Parts are available from any Vauxhall garage, at the same prices as Vauxhalls.

On the road
Driving
Its like a sponge cake on wheels. Bouncy castle style suspension and vague steering.
Performance
Sorry, this is a Daewoo Estate. The 1.6 engine pulls nicely although it doesn't halve consume oil in its old age (1 litre for every 200 miles).

Living with it
Reliability
From my experience they like oil. It did around 23MPG which is awful.
Image
It lost that in the design studio. Its how a five year old would draw a car.
Comfort
Again much like an Astra, there are seats. Loads of equipment though A/C (yes A/C), E/W, RCL, 6 Speakers, and good old bus.

Security and Service
Security
A stupid question, who would nick a Daewoo. Although they all have a very good alarm, remote central locking and immobiliser all built in. Nice one.
Service
Didn't really use any, so a neutral score.
