What does this car say about you?

I like to drive something different - and I know what is a good reliable car and what is a "standard" car for the class.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I think the family prefer the back of the Charade to the back of the TT. My Subaru owning neighbour doesn't know what it is but he also drives a Peugeot for work.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, if I needed something similar.

What are you likely to buy next?

Very possibly a Copen, or a newer Charade with AC included.

Yes, because I shopped around and knew what a good price was.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed a cheap commuter car.

What's it like to drive?

Excellent ride for a small car, and I quite like the performance of the engine. Handling is an acquired taste - personally I like it - lots of understeer, front goes wide and there is a lot of roll, but you know when the front tyres are losing grip. I've replaced the fronts with Vredesteins and grip is much better.

What's it like to park?

Terrific. Turning circle is miniscule, and visability excellent all round.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Driveshafts replaced after about 15,000 miles. Nothing else.

What's most practical about your car?

Small size, revvy 3 cylinder engine if you need to get away quickly. Cup-holders - my Audi TT doesn't have them. Headlights are good too.
