Daihatsu Sirion Hatchback (1998-2005) interior, tech and comfort

Driving position is hampered by the steering wheel’s lack of adjustment. Dull, black-plastic dominated cabin is livened up with aluminium-look plastic trim. Good pedal position, but too many minor controls in awkward places.
Cars with the 1.0 engine suffer excessive engine and road noise. Seats are quite supportive, but some fabric choices are of questionable taste. It’s a bit tight in the back, but five-door configuration makes access easy.
