Summary
What does this car say about you?
It has a dependable and solid appearance, creates interest whenever its parked up as its a fairly rare vehicle. I like to think it marks me out from the crowd.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All mightly impressed, especially the ride. US cars do have a better ride but the misconception is that they don't handle as well as European models - this Dodge destroys that arguement!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definately, fantastic value for money - if you want something different from the rest test drive the Caliber.
What are you likely to buy next?
Possibly Chrysler 300C

£17,000

What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quiet and powerful for a 2 litre diesel. Will climb Telegraph Hill (very steep) in Devon with absolutely no problem at 70mph. Sit it on a motorway and it goes all day at 80mph returning 40+ mpg. Plenty of grunt in 3rd and 4th gear, will pull away from most other vehicles.
What's it like to park?
Power steering is a dream, excellent turning circle, plenty of all round vision - for the cost, I would have liked to see a parking aid as standard equipment, but that only because it has almost every other option as standard!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Condensation in N/S rear light cluster - dealer replaced immediatly. UK fitted Thatcham alarm system was untidely installed with a rusty cover plate. Dealer tarted up the wiring and cleaned and painted the cover plate.
What's most practical about your car?
Large easy opening doors all round.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise Control, very easy to operate.
