Dodge Ram SRT-10 (05-06) rivals
Overview
While the Americans love pick-ups trucks, in the UK they still tend to be the preserve of small businesses and tradesmen. The Ram is an extreme pick-up that’s enormous and too big for UK roads making it difficult to manoeuvre in town and almost impossible to park in standard parking spaces.
This SRT-10 is the high-performance version powered by a huge 8.3-litre engine with 500bhp, which gives it storming performance, despite the woeful four-speed automatic gearbox and awful handling.
But in reality the SRT-10 is a pointless vehicle that’s out of place on UK roads.
