Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not sure really, that I like American culture and I'm not afraid of car parks I guess!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The love it. I've been stopped in the street and told by strangers that its cool.
Would you buy this car again and why?
For sure, next time I want a four wheel drive double cab.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Ram, but also a smaller run around for things like drive throughs, multi storey car parks. And also to save some petrol cost, I get about 16mpg from the Ram!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£11,995
When did you buy the car?
November 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, £12k for 5.7 litre V8 with 60k on the clock. Far more truck for your money than a Mitsubishi L200 that I had at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I travel to USA a lot, always liked the look of them and have an importer close to home.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent - David Boatwright Partnership in Braintree. Recommended.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Outstanding - surprisingly quiet, though no off road tyres or sports exhausts on this one. You float along in an armchair with great visibility above other traffic, no probs with left hand drive. Handles surprisingly well, loads better than the L200 - almost car like, albeit a very large car.
What's it like to park?
The achilles heel of the Ram. You will take up the whole spot at Sainsbury's and if others park next to you its a struggle to open the doors. I park in the 'far corner' of a car park away from the store where its quieter at the end of a row if possible. Its a bit of a pain, but more than worth it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing.
What's most practical about your car?
Loads of room in the truck bed for camping gear, loads of room in the front for mates. Masses of power, never struggles on hills etc even when fully loaded.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The accelerator pedal and the accompanying noise.
