Ferrari 360 Coupe Modena F1 2d (2004/04) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Irrelevant. Money is not the issue here.
Costs
Service, parts etc are not cheap…,but did you really think they would be?

Driving
This is a car for the passionate, not the Porsche poseur. Demands total envolvement. Expect to adapt to the car, not it to you. I have driven and owned a variety of top quality sports cars. This is by far the best yet.
Performance
Stunning... similar on paper to the 911 Turbo, but much more fun to drive. The 911's a nanny. This car's a mistress

Living with it
Reliability
Why on earth would you expect it to be unreliable?
Image
Stange fact: people smile at this car - not at the driver, at the car. I can confirm that this does not happen with 911s, Cayennes, Alfas, Bentleys, BMWs. OK, the thing's in your face, but somehow doesn't trigger the negative reactions some luxury cars do
Comfort
Oddly, with it's taut suspension, strident engine note, offset driving position and the odd squeak and rattle (yes!) this car is much more comfortable than, for example, a Porsche Cayenne. How DO Ferrari do that?

Security and Service
Security
You'll need an Eagle Tracker or similar, because the bad boys, the serious ones anyway, can get into anything short of an armoured car
Service
Obviously, this will vary with the dealer. Mine's fine.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Lightweight gel-type battery will discharge if the car isn't driven for a couple of weeks and getting at the passenger footwell-located battery's hard. A cigarette lighter trickle charger may be the answer
