Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not sure really...I've had alot of comments about it being a girly car but that changes when people get in it. The inside is pretty sporty and quite masculine, in the tech house grey it really stands out.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it. They're all particularly jealous. The number of times i've heard 'I want one of these now...' in the last few months....
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Any day.
What are you likely to buy next?
Quite possibly the Abarth 500. I love the look of the 500 in general and love the kick that the diesel model has, but the Abarth has that little bit extra.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£15,020
When did you buy the car?
February 2015
Did you get a good deal and why?
Pretty standard deal really - they were a little stingy in giving me 1/4 of a tank of diesel 'free' - why thankyou, Fiat, for the £7.50 saved in buying a £15000 car! I feel like it's a decent deal for the car though, they also took £1000 off as a deposit contribution.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I love the look of the Fiat 500s, have wanted one for some time!
What was the dealer like?
Friendly if a little slow!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's a great car to drive. It handles brilliantly, particularly with the (apparently improved) sport handling. City mode is brilliant, it's fantastic for nipping in and out of traffic in towns and cities and excellent for parking. I love the general handling on country roads, feels like driving a very fast go-kart. Alot of fun. It's surprisingly fast and has alot of pull, particularly in 3rd and 4th. Having test driven the petrol models they accelerated fairly weakly, and struggled on hills, however this accelerates well whatever the incline. Have found myself overtaking on steep hills too many times to count now.
What's it like to park?
Easy peasy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong thus far. Seems very reliable to me. No worries with it. Then, it's only 2 months old...
What's most practical about your car?
It's tiny, easy to park, but has a deceptive amount of space inside. It's very comfortable indeed, and the boot is a decent size for such a small car. Have had 4 adults with luggage (it was a bit of a push, mind!).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I love the Blue+Me system, and the new TFT instrument cluster is great. I guess it's a gimmick, but it sure looks good. Decent sounding stereo, without the upgrade for £300 or so. No need, as far as I can tell.
