I owned the 500L for 5 years, replacing an Audi Turbo estate which engine blew up. It was cheap to buy and cheap to run and proved to be a fantastic versatile family car with us enjoying some great trips to the south of France in it. I sold it because of ULEZ in London and that they no longer do the 1.6L motor so now have a BMW X1 which I know will be far more costly to run
How reliable do you find the car?
Incredibly reliable, driven to South of France and Switzerland up mountains three times, never misses a beat. Cheap to service at main dealerDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
Its a big 'small' car, my wife finds it easy to use however its very practical with a small family due to loading space - the back seats move forwards and can fold right up It has a high driving position so a shorter person would feel comfortable n traffic being up highAbout their car
