Fiat 500X (2015 - 2024) 1.4 Multiair (170bhp) 4x4 Cross Plus 5d Auto Owner Review

The car was purchased because both myself and the wife thought it was kind of cute, a bit left field and different, opting for the more powerful petrol I also thought it would feel plenty quick enough on the road. I like the keyless entry and start and that is it, the car is awful the suspension is way too hard it bumps and judders down the road like you would not believe, the auto gearbox is the worst I have ever known with jerky changes and selecting too high a gear for pulling away feeling sluggish and unsafe some gear changes jerk so much you smack your head on the headrest which incidentally might as well be made from rock they are so hard. I have only managed an average of 25mpg in a year of driving which is poor, it does not feel anywhere near as quick as the figures suggest, the rain sensor makes the windscreen wipers dance I could go on as I said it is awful, in fairness it has never gone wrong, selling now so good luck to the next owner !!
