Fiat 500X (2015 - 2024) 1.4 Multiair Pop Star (Nav) 5d Owner Review

My wife fell in love with this car in the showroom - it is the 1.4 multi air S Design which is a special edition model of the 500X. It looks great in Cinema Black with the S Design special styling cues. OK so the car is only just over 2 weeks old but I have to say she loves it. I have been allowed to drive it on a couple of occassions and found it responsive, quiet and for quite a tall mini SUV it handles really well. It appears to be well screwed together and the cabin is a very pleasant place to be. I know it is early days but I think the 500X is one of those cars where you need to spec it carefully and the engine and gearbox seem to be the most important area. The 1.4 multiair petrol engine combined with the slick 6 speed manual gearbox seem to be the way to go. You will never achieve much more than 35 - 40mpg but that is not a particular concern as the annual mileage will only be around 6000 miles. If you are looking for a small SUV crossover I would certainly put the 500X on your shortlist.
