Fiat Bravo 1.6 SX 3d (1998/S) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Depreciation high as with all Fiats. To me this means good value cars second hand :D
Costs
35mpg average. Covered 25k in 2 years. Only had service, tyres and the all important cambelt done! I avoid Fiat dealers at all costs!

On the road
Driving
Can understeer when pushed, good tyres make a difference. For a non-sports model very good!
Performance
Quick enough. Engine only really pulls over around 3500rpm so you do have to push it to make it go.

Living with it
Reliability
Cannot fault it. Not had a single problem in 2 years and 25k miles, and I often drive it hard!
Image
I think they are a great looking car, although I have a spoiler and alloys etc.
Comfort
Seats etc are nice and firm. No complaints. I'm quite tall and it's one of the few cars I feel comfortable driving.

Security and Service
Security
Thatcham approved immobiliser as standard (it's true, look on the Thatcham website) but no alarm on the SX. I will let you decide if this is good or bad.
Service
Not used the manufacturer so cannot comment!
