What does this car say about you?

My car is full of things for my little boy, i.e sun visors and little dude on board signs, so it clearly states that I'm a mummy! But on the whole, it's a chunky car and that's what I like! The fact that there's alot around my child to keep him safe keeps me happy!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

The males say "oh no- Fit! fix it again tomorrow!" and the girls say "defo you".

Would you buy this car again and why?

I wouldn't buy it with this size engine, maybe if it was a bigger engine, with alloys! I feel I've been cheated by having normal steel wheels!

What are you likely to buy next?

Something smaller, hard top convertible!

Did you get a good deal and why?

I didn't get a good deal. I wasn't going to get the car in the end because I couldn't afford the monthly payments or the big first and last payments of the finance. The manager at the dealer stated he had brought the monthly payments down and had spread the first and last payments across the months. Little did I know he couldn't do that and was hit with a huge first payment, a charge for moving the direct debit date to payday which he said he'd already set up and now I'm still struggling to pay it off for the remaining 1.5 years!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a bigger car as I was pregnant and had a Peugeot 206 which didn't fit my car seat and pram in. Plus the Fiat was said to be better for fuel.

What was the dealer like?

Let's say they were VERY PERSUASIVE! Wanted to get rid of the Fiat off their Ford forecourt and BOY did they do it!

What's it like to drive?

It's a heavy car, and because mine only has a 1.4 engine it can sometimes take a bit to get going.

What's it like to park?

I've always had cars with chunky bums so i'm used to parking well. It's great in that sense.

Have you had any problems with the car?

A couple of months into the finance the computer went funny and sent the electrics wild! Which only after having a go at Fiat and the dealer did they do a 'courtesy' repair and changed it as the warranty had just ran out coincidently!

What's most practical about your car?

Haven't found anything as yet.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Likes to let me know when it's hungry for more petrol!
