Economy
Value
Brilliant value for a car that looks and goes as good as it does. Shamefully underrated car leads to steeper than usual depreciation - absolute bargain for £6-£9k.
Costs
So far, so good. No major faults to report, have read some horror stories - seems most coupe owners can't leave them alone, spending thousands in mods and therefore reducing reliability.

On the road
Driving
Nothing short of supercar handling, with razor sharp steering and a truly unbelievable chassis. Stays glued to the road, even driven very fast. Gearbox and clutch smooth and ultra responsive. Engine noise has Italian subtlety - purrs like a kitten.
Performance
Quite simply awesome. Acceleration is breath taking, can overtake anything. Effortless all the way up to 155mph. Will annoy plenty of M3 owners!

Living with it
Reliability
Never had a problem - regular servicing is the key. Would recommend oil change every 6k miles. Seems some coupes have minor electrical faults - small price to pay for a car like this.
Image
I get bewildering looks everywhere I go. Still looks amazing after 10 years even unique. Styled by pininforina - Golf/Imprezza/Evo/M3 - housebricks on steroids.
Comfort
Front seats are a major disappointment - more like leather sofas than sports seats. Superb on motoway, long journeys, needs LE Recaros for country lanes. No height adjustment is a major flaw. Will seat 4, though 6 feet plus I imagine would be a squeeze.

Security and Service
Security
Seems to be a highly rated CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser. Worth buying expensive steering lock don't bother with trackers - very expensive and wont stop the car being stolen!
Service
Don't bother with Fiat unless you've got an American Express gold card. Plenty of reasonable specialists about, who have a passion for the car, therefore don't rip people off.
