Summary
What does this car say about you?
Who cares! - It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it looks very 'executive'. Once taken for a spin - the love it!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definatly - Only the 2.4 though. So much fun.
What are you likely to buy next?
I really don't know - I think this will last me quite some time.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£11,000
When did you buy the car?
December 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
OK, We bought a Grande Punto and ended up rejecting the car due to poor workmanship and 8 major faults in 11 months (See my Grande Punto review - 1.4 Dynamic 5Dr). Having owned other Fiats I felt we should try them once more.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Getting rid of the Grande Punto due to terrible experience and loved the look and drive of the Croma
What was the dealer like?
Very good - but owing to the potential court action felt obliged in offering us a better deal.
-
Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Awesomely fast, if not a little big.
What's it like to park?
Rear parking sensors - Easy!!
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
New motor in 'Skydome' roof - We were told this needed replacing upon buying it.
What's most practical about your car?
Space, comfort, feeling of luxury. A collegue of mine has a CLK Merc and I can honestly say this Fiat is better.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Dual climate control, Skydome roof (You just don't get sunroofs anymore), 11 Air bags, 8 speaker Multi CD changer, Door mounted window blinds, Rear parking sensors, Rear tinted windows, 18 inch alloys, 2.4 litre 20v 200 BHP engine. It really does go on and on.......
