Summary
What does this car say about you?
It's a car. Hopefully it doesn't say anything about me. Mine is the 1.3 dynamic (90) which isn't on the Parkers list for some reason.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Smart, economical, comfortable for four people.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not. Although the boot space is good I miss the space I have in an estate
What are you likely to buy next?
Golf estate.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£8,000
When did you buy the car?
October 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Fairly good. The car was just a year old and had been their car, not a demonstrator, and had only 6,000 mile on the clock. Mine is the 1.3 (90) but that doesn't appear as an option on this site.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Good reviews at the time. Economical and cheap to insure.
What was the dealer like?
Pretty poor actually. Didn't tell me about the paint protection I could have had until I went to collect it. By then it was too late as they needed it overnight. They also didn't transfer the warranty to my name.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good. Most comfortable car to drive after my old Golf.
What's it like to park?
fine. The city park option makes it a doddle to get into tight spaces.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Quite a bit. Thankfully all sorted out under warranty with no quibbles. Fingers crossed its all sorted now.
What's most practical about your car?
It's very economical. Sticking at 60 on a long run it does 75mpg
