Fiat Grande Punto (2006 - 2010) 1.4 16v Sporting 3d Owner Review

Had from new and have been very pleased with it. I have had all the re-call work carried out with out any problems. I average 49 mpg but it will go down to mid 30's if you are heavy with the right foot. Having 6 gears makes it a joy for motorway journeys, but you do need to change down when you come to steep hills as it is only a 1.4 it struggles a little when fully loaded. The seats are comfortable in the front and you can get 3 adults in the back but 2 is better for comfort. This model comes with Fiats Blue & Me and this works very well with most mobiles for hands free it also comes with WIndows media centre audio play back and with the IPod/ IPhone adaptor plays all my music through the stereo with ease. Voice activated commands via the multi functional steering wheel controls allow for dialing numbers not stored on your phone. The audio system comprises of a single CD player, Radio (AM, FM,MW) and also media player. The CD player also plays MP3 cd's. The USB input in the glove box allows you to connect your Iphone /Ipod and also to plug in a USB stick with MP3's on it. One touch window operation on drivers side only, Multi function trip computer, Front Fog lights, Sports seats and steering wheel, White dial faces, 17" alloys only niggle is no spare only a pump and a liquid puncture repair system. It has now done 92,000 miles and is on the original Clutch, Exhaust and suspension. A very reliable car and cheap to run.
