Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I like something a little different. It's the Sporting model so people do often look. It's a good colour as well so you don't see many of them about.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it. Everyone has commented on the grey interior trim and the seats. They all think it's very nice.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Perhaps, I never test drove a petrol version so that could be an option.
What are you likely to buy next?
Convertible, perhaps a Saab 9-3 aero. Have wanted a convertible for years so I think the time is coming.

Did you get a good deal and why?
The car was up for £7499 a week before. Hugely over priced so it was never included in my searches. It was lowered and then I got another £250.00 off plus they tidied up some bits, serviced and MOT for 12 months. I felt it was a good deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I bought this car as it was economical, cheap to insure and tax but still has good performance and fantastic looks.
What was the dealer like?
OK...large dealer with many used cars. The sales girl was only really interested if we wanted the car or not. They didnt follow up on their 3 month call as promised.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
First gear is very short and no turbo can make it a little hesitant to get going. Very punch in second and third. Picks up great in 6th gear as well. Handles very well,
What's it like to park?
Can be a little strange with the large rear pillars. It's wider than first thought so can take a while to adjust. I had a Volvo S40 saloon previously and could park this with no problems.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Drivers door mechanism failed leaving me to drive to the local dealer holding the door - not ideal. Fixed and the independant dealer paid for it. Unhderstand that this is a common fault with these. Luckily, no further issues to date.
What's most practical about your car?
Surprisingly spacious for a 3 door hatch. Good economy even when driven 'briskly' Good boot space.

Blue & Me hands free voice & steering controls. USB connection & display/computer.
