Fiat Marea Weekend 2.4 TD HLX (125bhp) 5d (1997/P) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Plenty of gadgets for not much money (second hand).
Costs
Reasonable for a car of this size.
-
On the road
Driving
Big grippy tyres, sharp handling, much better ride than Fiats of old.
Performance
Belting 2.4TD packs a lot of mid-range grunt and sounds great!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Apart from a flat battery (my fault!), the car has never let me down.
Image
A good looking yet practical estate - not too common either.
Comfort
Pleasant upholstery in this spec, firm/supportive seats, everything to hand when driving, no complaints, although driving position not ideal for a tall person.
-
Security and Service
Security
HLX comes with alarm and immobiliser as standard, but no deadlocks.
Service
I've had few problems with Fiat - Amersham and Slough dealerships both very good.
